This is my first attempt at a pixel-art scene, so I took something with lots of bits and bobs that I could get my teeth into. It's actually the kitchen of a boat we stayed in for a week, hence the water outside the window In a way it's a bit too true to life in that the interesting things are all in one place, but as a first proper go I'm quite pleased. All comments are most welcome!
I would suggest trying to make the smirnoff liquid have some colour.. Just add 20 blue (using the RGB scale) or something, and you'd be able to see more clearly that the bottle isn't empty. Like you've done in the sink
Try to get rid of those black lines in the curtain.. I'm pretty sure the curtain isn't black like that in real life. Using a dark orange colour would be prettier. And maybe some more contrast for the texture in the curtain
Ahh, that'll do for tonight.. Good job

Hey there, thanks for the critique! Whenever I look at this picture I can see a lot of things I'd do differently (like the bits you mentioned), but I fiddled with it for so long I got fed up with it

In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
